Bad
Bad is an album of recorded music by pop music icon Michael Jackson, released in 1987. After the monumental success of Thriller, Jackson and co-producer/collaborator Quincy Jones produced a slicker funk/pop confection. Bad is currently certified at 8x Platinum by the RIAA in the United States, and worldwide has sold an estimated 32 million copies. In addition it achieved 5 #1 singles in the U.S., a world record which has never been broken.
Rolling Stone stated that "even without a milestone recording like "Billie Jean", Bad is still a better record than Thriller." The magazine further went on to say that the "filler" content in Bad - including songs such as "Speed Demon", "Dirty Diana" and "Liberian Girl" - is written by Jackson himself, making Bad "richer, sexier and better than Thriller's forgettable's." Although the album did not meet the sales of his previous album,Thriller , it has been viewed as a commercial and critical success.
Jackson set another record with this album, becoming the first (and currently, only) artist to have five songs to hit #1 from one album.
All songs produced by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.

Looking Back To Yesterday
Looking Back to Yesterday is a 1986 compilation album featuring tracks from Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5.
As part of Motown's Never-Before-Released series, all songs were previously unreleased except for "Love's Gone Bad" and "I Was Made To Love Her", alternate versions were released in 1979 on the Motown compilation Boogie.
Surprisingly, "Looking Back To Yesterday" wasn't promoted a lot, and consequently, didn't obtain the success of Farewell My Summer Love. No single was released, except in Canada, where Love's Gone Bad (w/B I Hear A Symphony) was released as a promo single, and is a great rarity.
All songs produced by Jerry Marcellino, Mel Larson, Hal Davis, Bob Crewe.

Farewell My Summer Love
Farewell My Summer Love (originally titled Farewell My Summer Love 1984 and later re-issued as Here I Am (Come and Take Me) in Germany) was a compilation of unreleased archived Michael Jackson recordings from 1973 until 1975. The album was released by Motown Records in 1984 as a "lost" Michael Jackson solo album that was meant to be released in 1974 but was later held off because of the Jackson 5's renewed success with "Dancing Machine."
The nine songs featured on the album were originally recorded in 1973 but had not been previously released. To give the album a more 1980s sound, Motown remixed the songs and added all new musical overdubs. The task of playing the updated sound was given to musicians Tony Peluso, Michael Lovesmith and Steve Barri. Together with drummer Mike Baird, they recorded new guitar, keyboard, percussion drum parts for the songs.
The title track was released as a single in May, 1984. It became a Top 40 hit in the US. A follow-up single, "Touch The One You Love," was released in the US and backed by "Girl You're So Together," but it failed to chart. In the UK, however, "Girl You're So Together" was released as a single, with "Touch the One You Love" on the B-side, and became a top 40 hit.
The album reached no. 46 on Billboard's pop album chart and no. 9 on the UK albums chart.
All new musical overdubs and mixes produced by Tony Peluso, Michael Lovesmith and Steve Barri.

Thriller
Thriller is the sixth studio album by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was released in 1982 by Epic Records as the follow-up to Jackson's critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off the Wall. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off The Wall, including funk, soul, pop, easy listening, R&B, rock and post-disco music.
Recording sessions took place between April and November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California, with a production budget of $750,000. Assisted by producer Quincy Jones, Jackson wrote four of Thriller's nine tracks. In just over a year, Thriller became—and currently remains—the best-selling album of all time, with sales over 110 million copies worldwide, and as the best-selling album in the United States. Seven of the album's nine songs were released as singles, and all reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album won a record-breaking eight Grammy Awards at the 1984 Grammy's.
Thriller cemented Jackson's status as one of the preeminent pop stars of the late 20th century, and enabled him to break down racial barriers via his appearances on MTV and meeting with President Ronald Reagan at the White House. The album was one of the first to use music videos as successful promotional tools—the videos for "Thriller", "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" all received regular rotation on MTV.
Thriller ranked number 20 on Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list in 2003 and was listed by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers at number three in its Definitive 200 Albums of All Time.
Thriller is also the first album of only three in history to produce seven Billboard Hot 100 top-ten singles, and the first and to date only album to be the best-selling album of two years (1983 and 1984) in the United States, according to Billboard. The album continues to sell an estimated 60,000 units in the United States per year.

Off The Wall
Off The Wall is the fifth studio album by the American pop musician Michael Jackson, released in 1979 on Epic Records, after Jackson's critically well received film performance in 'The Wiz'. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album.
Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Jackson wrote several of the songs himself, including the lead single, "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".
The record was a departure from Jackson's previous work for Motown. Several critics observed that Off The Wall was crafted from funk, disco-pop, soul, soft rock, jazz and pop ballads. Jackson received positive reviews for his vocal performance on the record. The record gained positive reviews and won the singer his first Grammy Award since the early 1970s. With Off the Wall, Jackson became the first solo artist to have four singles from the same album peak inside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album was a commercial success, to date it is certified for 8× Multi-Platinum in the US.
The album peaked no. 3 in the Billboard album charts, spending 48 consecutive weeks inside the top 20, and, according to Billboard, it was the third best-selling album of 1980 in the United States and the best-selling R&B album of the year.
