In the edition of the 'Globe' magazine, Michael seems to be a photo showing a spider bite on his leg.

In the article dedicated to him, Michael said that a spider has planted her venomous fangs into the body while he slept in his Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos. "I do not know exactly how it happened," he admits. "I have not seen the spider. I woke up one morning and I had a big button on the leg. There was pus oozing and it was terribly wrong. I had to do a biopsy and discovered that it was the bite of a very poisonous spider that can even be fatal."

The doctors who examined him confirmed the spider bite. His personal physician, Dr. Alimorad Farshchian, says he was certainly a brown recluse, which injects a devastating toxin creating nasty lesions that can take weeks to heal.

"The injury was 6-7 cm in diameter," says the doctor Globe. "It was purple with three or four bulbs in the middle. Shortly after that, we have treated and dried out to become a great crust. Now she heals. Dead skin cells are falling and the new skin begins to grow."

Michael explains that the constant pain from the sting "was unable to attend the court hearings and the Billboard Music Awards to receive a trophy marking the 20th anniversary of 'Thriller'. "Instead, his friend Chris Tucker presented him with the award at his ranch, all broadcast by satellite. he also adds that, because of the pain, it was difficult for him to have all of its functions. "I love dancing so much," he said. "But it's been weeks since I could not dance. This is one of the things I miss.
