This special promo single is only released in Belgium in 1987 in cooperation with a newspaper and a bank and the label was given by Epic. The Michael Jackson Magic Beat - Set Of 3 Perfume Pens is released in 1986 in the USA and is a very rare item perfume pens in three different scents - 'Heartbeat', 'Unwind' and 'Wildfire', manufactured by Max Factor as part of Michael's 'Magic Beat' collection. Magic Beat was supposed to coincide with the release of the 'Bad' album (which we know was delayed until Aug. 1987). Since there was no promotion or album to back the line, it didn't sell well and was quickly pulled from shelves (so much of the line is quite rare). Each pen contains 0.12 fl. oz. of perfume and is housed in a pink & gold packaging and measuring 5 x 2½" x ½". Record label: Max Factor
The Australian were beginning in 1988 with "The 12" Mixes". That Maxi-CD, which has been manufactured in the 'Thriller' period, is for two reasons a collector item: first is it rare (even in Australia) and second you can find two almost not to be found remixes on that CD. Therefore we cannot withhold them. With "The 12" Mixes" you can kill two birds with one stone: so you can procure also the two Extended Versions of "Thriller", which were once produced: "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' " en "Billie Jean" and that is something special. The VHS video"Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" was released in 1985 by MGM. It was a 1983 television special produced by Suzanne de Passe for Motown Records, to commemorate Motown's twenty-fifth year of existence. The program was taped before a live studio audience on March 25, 1983, and broadcast on NBC on May 16. Among its highlights were a Temptations/Four Tops "battle of the bands", Marvin Gaye's inspired speech about black music history and his memorable performance of "What's Going On", a Jackson 5 reunion, Michael Jackson's performance of "Billie Jean", and an abbreviated reunion of Diana Ross & the Supremes, who performed their final #1 hit, "Someday We'll Be Together" from 1969. Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" performance received significant applause from the audience, especially when Jackson executed his trademark moonwalk for the first time. But there exist 2 editions, they differ from pictures (changing from place), the first edition was been sold until September 1984, the second edition is a bit more rare than the first edition and was been sold from the concert of September 17th in the Olympic Stadium of Montreal. The single includes the jingle Michael and The Jacksons recorded for Pepsi commercials with 'Billie Jean' background. Note: On January 27th, 1984 Michael was injured during the shot of 1 of these Pepsi commercials, directed by Bob Giraldi.
