Michael`s Body Released To Family. 27-06-'09

Late Friday night, the body of Michael Jackson has been released to his family members, who have gathered in Encino (California, USA) to plan his funeral arrangements and grieve his loss.

His family is debating whether to arrange a public or private funeral.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office completed Michael Jackson's autopsy Friday, concluding that there were no signs of foul play or trauma.

A person close to the family said Jackson's relatives have many questions about the people who spent time with the pop singer in the days leading up to his death. In particular, Jackson's family wants to know more about the singer's interactions with concert promoter AEG. The family believes that several advisers and representatives who were spending time with Jackson were put in place by AEG.

The president of AEG Live has said Dr. Conrad Murray, the cardiologist who was with Michael Jackson when he collapsed Thursday, was hired at the request of the singer.

"As a company, we would have preferred not having a physician on staff full-time because it would have been cheaper without the hotels and travel, but Michael was insistent that he be hired," Randy Phillips said Friday. "Michael had a rapport with him."

Records reveal that Jackson's doctor had been ordered to pay $400,000 as a result of court judgments over the years and he currently faces at least two other pending court cases and several tax liens. Police have seized the doctor's car in search of evidence, but say Murray is not considered a criminal suspect.

The person who spoke to The Associated Press said Jackson's family is also very concerned about the singer's estate, as they are not sure who has been handling his business affairs.

"There are decisions going down without the family being in the loop; it's becoming an issue," the person said.

While none of Jackson's family members were present when he died, he was not estranged from his relatives, the person close to the family said. The singer's children are now being cared for by his family in Encino.

However, the police want Dr. Murray to help piece together a timeline of the day's events.

Family Wants 2nd Autopsy. 27-06-'09

The Rev. Jesse Jackson says Michael Jackson's family wants an independent autopsy following the entertainer's sudden death at age 50.

Jesse Jackson said after a Chicago press conference Saturday that there are unanswered questions surrounding the King of Pop's death, including about the role of the personal cardiologist who was with him.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office performed an autopsy on Friday but deferred a finding on the cause of death pending further tests that could take more than a month.

Jesse Jackson says the family's wound from the sudden death is being kept open by the mystery of the cause of death.

Michael Jackson's Kids Want To Remain With Grandparents. 27-06-'09

Sources close to the Jackson family are saying that Michael Jackson's three children -- Michael Joseph, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine and Prince "Blanket" Michael II -- say they want to stay with their grandparents, specifically Katherine Jackson.

Michael Children

Sources say MJ's kids will continue to live with Katherine Jackson at the family's Encino home. We're told the family is 100 percent behind this -- feeling that Katherine and Joe Jackson are the only people who can help the children understand who their father was, help them grieve, and teach them to deal with life in the spotlight.

They have no relationship with Debbie Rowe, who is the biological mother of Michael and Paris.

Michael Jackson Died 1958 - 2009. 27-06-'09

Michael Jackson fans what should I say, I cannot pass a word over my lips, not touch food.
I will do it whit a text on my site.

Why? Why? is our pop idol passed away on his fiftieth.

Now I'm a sad fan who's inner side totally broken, something died in me. Sit with an emptiness in my hart and my wife Rita support me a lot, love her.

I've been already 27 years fan of Michael and will be a fan for ever, as imitator I've decided yesterday in an interview to perform further until my fiftieth. My dream to met Michael will never come true, would like to show to my beloved Rita the "This is it" performance on July 18th but it may not happen.

Everything was been booked, the Eurostar, the hotel etc. Very spiteful that I have to cancel this. 50 Years and on the top of his comeback he goes away from us to a place where they will receive him with open arms.

Michael was so good for the world, his fans and of course his children, he will be living for ever in my heart.

For me was Michael a human being of whom I loved, like to see him dancing and singing. His smile was so special, the child in him has always affect me. Have never spoken to him, nor shake him the hand, still I had the feeling knowing him.

What I felt the last days I've never felt before so sad I am, it has given me Friday such a rare feeling to give an interview on TV as an imitator.

Michael I shall miss you for ever, you get a place in my heart next to my beloved Rita and my 2 children.

Love you forever "Gone Too Soon".

You Are Always In My Heart

Love you forever "Gone Too Soon".

Lisa Marie Presley, Michael Jackson’s first wife from 1994 - 1996, has posted a heartfelt and kind of chilling blog entry about her relationship with the late star and a conversation she had with him 14 years ago.

Michael & Lisa

Presley writes that Jackson told her that he was afraid that he would face a similar fate as her father, the late great Elvis Presley. Elvis passed at the age of 42 from what was first ruled a heart attack that was ultimately thought to have been caused by a prescription drug interaction.

Ed AlonzoMagician Recalls Last Rehearsal. 27-06-'09

The day before Michael Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and died, the King of Pop seemed completely fine, according to magician Ed Alonzo, who was working on his upcoming tour.

"Michael was on stage performing the numbers, singing and dancing with the cast," Alonzo told Us about seeing Jackson Wednesday evening at rehearsals. "It was a privilege to be able to watch the concert that no one will see now."

He said Jackson -- wearing a white shirt and pants -- arrived at the Staples Center in L.A. around 6:30 p.m.

"By the time that Michael came in, all we had to do was just show [the plan] to him. He was such a quick learner," he said. "He would learn this stuff in seconds. And jump right into it! The choreography, all of it... He looked fantastic."

When it was time to sing, Alonzo said Michael mentioned a seemingly minor ailment.

"He claimed that he felt he had a little bit of laryngitis. He said 'I'm not going to sing this full-out because I have this laryngitis.' But he looked great and these pop-locking moves that he was doing on stage with the crew were just breathtaking... He didn't seem tired. He went from one move to the next. It was an unbelievable experience to be with him and to see it all come together."

Mentally, Michael seemed completely fine.

"He was joking with the crew on stage. There was a cameraman on stage ... that was a foot away from him that was kind of crouched down and Michael said some kind of funny gesture like, ‘Oh you're very close, look how close you are.' And he reached down and touched the cameraman on the top of the head in a joking manner. You could see on the screen how big Michael's image was on these projection screens. He was playful and light-hearted."

Alonzo spent the rest of the evening watching him perform.

"I just thought, 'Wow, he still has it. When he did 'Thriller,' I was just in awe. I stayed for a while, probably until about midnight. And then they started to rehearse the 'Thriller' number with a gigantic spider on stage and I thought, 'Well, it's getting late...' Had I known, I would have stayed another half hour and watched more."

He said that Michael rehearsed with the dancers until 1 a.m.

At rehearsals the following day, none of the crew knew anything was wrong until media reports began circulating the following afternoon.

"I wasn't sure what was happening. People were just looking at their phones and looking at websites and texts that they were getting. I think the news was now coming out. [Show producer Kenny] Ortega was on and off the phone probably five or six different times. And the news was slowly coming in, but it was not definitive. And Kenny finally looked at us and said, 'We need to call a group meeting.'"

He said, 'Michael Jackson was taken to the hospital. We're not sure at this point what has happened, but Michael Jackson has passed away.’ And then there was just this gasp. It was the words we didn't want to hear."

With the collected group of dancers and crew members in shock, Alonzo said Ortega got choked up as he told them all that they would "wrap for now."

"He said, 'Michael said he worked with the greatest artists on this event. It was really sad."
