Michael / Tours / The Jacksons Tour (1977)

The Jacksons Tour: May 1977.

Following a move from Motown to Epic Records, the group was renamed The Jacksons, and embarked on another tour of Europe.

The Jacksons also replaced Jermaine with their brother, 14-year-old Randy, since Jermaine chose to stay with Motown after he got married to Berry Gordy's daughter, Hazel. Randy had been an unofficial member of The Jackson 5 since 1972, playing congas onstage as part of their live act.

The Jacksons play a two-and-a-half week tour of Europe, the highlights of which is the Royal Command Performance at King's Hall, Glasgow as part of Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee celebrations. Other dates include Amsterdam, Paris, Bremen & London.
